This interactive session will introduce you to the purpose and power of Organizational Focus, provide hands-on interpretative practice, and demonstrate how to integrate it with the Birkman Map and Interests. Whether you're coaching individuals, advising teams, or diagnosing disengagement, Organizational Focus helps you align people with the work that energizes them—and avoid what drains them.

Objectives

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  1. Define Organizational Focus and explain how it differs from other Birkman data sets such as the Map and Interests.

  2. Interpret Org Focus scores with accuracy and nuance, identifying the types of tasks that are most likely to energize or drain an individual.

  3. Integrate Org Focus with the Birkman Map and Interests, drawing connections between behavior, passion, and task preference to create holistic coaching narratives.

  4. Use Org Focus insights in coaching conversations, helping individuals realign responsibilities to reduce burnout and increase daily engagement.

  5. Practice using real-world examples to deepen interpretive skill and reinforce confidence in applying Org Focus data in both individual and team development scenarios.
